Your daily edition

A daily news digest written from what you read

Every night at midnight, WHT.day turns the articles, posts and newsletters you saved that day into a personal newspaper — a front page with a lead story, quotes and context, delivered to your inbox and filed in your permanent archive.

WHT.day

A day defined by a single rate decision, and the many places its consequences landed.

Lead story

Central Bank Holds Rates, and Markets Exhale

The decision itself surprised no one. What moved was the language around it — a shift in tone that three separate outlets read three different ways...

We are prepared to wait as long as the data requires.

A Chipmaker's Quarter Reframes the Sector

Revenue beat estimates by a wide margin, and the chart you saved shows why the reaction was muted anyway.

The Thread That Explained the Selloff

A fund manager's post, saved at 11pm, turned out to be the clearest account of the day.

A personal newspaper, not another feed

Feeds are infinite and forgetful; a newspaper is finite and kept. Your WHT.day edition covers exactly one day — the one you just lived — and only the stories you thought worth saving. No recommendation engine, no engagement bait. If you saved three things, it is a tight front page; if the day was big, the edition reads like one.

A morning briefing email that’s actually yours

Most daily digest emails summarise someone else’s idea of the news. This one is assembled from your own reading: the market story you clipped at breakfast, the thread you bookmarked at lunch, the newsletter you highlighted at night. Open it with coffee and see yesterday put back in order — what happened, what you noticed, and how it connects.

From bookmarks to newsletter in one step

There is nothing to write and nothing to configure. Save with the Chrome or Firefox extension as you read; WHT.day does the editing. Each edition arrives with real headlines, real quotes from your sources, and links back to every original — a newsletter produced nightly from your own bookmarks.

Every edition filed, forever

The digest is the delivery; the archive is the destination. Every front page is filed by date in a calendar you can browse and search across years. Six months from now, “what was that piece about rate cuts?” is one search away — with the full article text preserved in your personal news archive, even if the original link has died.

Written nightly

A real front page from your day's saves, at midnight in your timezone.

Email delivery

The edition lands in your inbox, ready with your morning coffee.

Archived by date

Every edition is kept in a searchable calendar archive, forever.

Questions

The daily digest, answered

What is a personal news digest?
A daily summary built only from what you chose to save — not an algorithm's guesses. Each night WHT.day takes the articles, posts and newsletters you clipped that day and writes them into a single readable front page: a lead story, supporting stories, real quotes and the connections between them.
When does the digest arrive?
At midnight in your timezone, once the day is complete. The finished edition can be delivered to your inbox as an email digest, and it is always filed in your archive either way.
How is this different from a newsletter or RSS reader?
Newsletters and RSS deliver other people's selections on their schedule. Your WHT.day edition is written from your own saves — the things you actually stopped to read that day. It is a personal newspaper: your interests, your sources, your record.
What sources can go into my daily edition?
Anything you can save: news articles, X (Twitter) posts and threads, email newsletters, Substack essays, highlighted passages, images and video clips. The browser extension captures them in one click, and each evening's edition is built from that day's saves.
How do I sign up?
Pick monthly ($8) or annual ($68), pay once at checkout, and your account is created. We email you a sign-in link. Save a few things today and your first edition arrives tonight.
