$8 a month, or $68 a year

WHT.day is $8/month, or $68/year (about three and a half months free). Cancel anytime from Settings. One plan; everyone gets everything.

What does the subscription include?

There is one plan, and it is all of WHT.day: unlimited archive size with the full text of everything you save preserved forever, the one-click Chrome and Firefox extension, one-click narrative timelines of any topic, automatic X bookmark sync, search by meaning across your whole archive, and an optional nightly email summary. You can save up to 150 items a day — an anti-abuse guard, not a meaningful ceiling for a human reader.

How does that compare to other read-it-later apps?

Most tools in the category are also subscriptions — Instapaper, Raindrop.io, and Readwise Reader all put their full feature sets behind recurring plans, and GoodLinks' one-time price buys an Apple-only reading queue rather than a permanent archive. The honest comparison isn't price alone but what the money buys: a queue, a bookmark library, or a full-text archive that outlives dead links. We compare them properly in the Pocket alternatives guide and Instapaper vs Raindrop vs Pocket, and side by side on the comparison page.

Questions

Pricing questions, answered

How much does WHT.day cost?
WHT.day costs $8 per month or $68 per year — the annual plan is about a 29% discount, roughly three and a half months free. You pick a plan at checkout and can cancel anytime from Settings.
How do I sign up?
Pick monthly or annual, pay once at checkout, and your account is created. We email you a sign-in link. From then on you have the full product: save articles and X posts, build timelines, sync X bookmarks, and search your archive.
Why is WHT.day a subscription instead of a one-time purchase?
Because the product is a running service, not a static app: WHT.day stores the full text and images of everything you save, builds timelines and search on top of it with AI models, and syncs your X bookmarks three times a day. Storage and nightly generation have real ongoing costs, and the subscription is what keeps a permanent archive permanent.
What are the limits on a paid plan?
Paid accounts can save up to 150 items per day — a guard against runaway scripts rather than a practical ceiling; a heavy human reader saves a few dozen a day. Archive size and search are not limited.
How do I cancel?
Cancel from Settings at any time. Billing stops at the end of the paid period, and your archive is never deleted — cancelling stops new saves and digests, and the most recent 30 days stay readable.
